What is in a name?
The lettered olive is the state seashell of South Carolina and is named for its brown markings that resemble written letters.
It was chosen as the name for the firm due to the link to the state in which the firm is based and the natural association to letters in graphic design, layout and typesetting. It all seemed to just make sense and tie everything together.
